Berkeley Executive Program In Management : David Charron : Entrepreneurship

David Charron is Senior Fellow and member of the professional faculty in the Entrepreneurship Program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. He has also served as Executive Director of the Berkeley Innovative Leadership Development Initiative (BILD) and as the Executive Director of the business school’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, the Lester Center. At Haas, Mr. Charron teaches Business Model Innovation and Entrepreneurial Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Case Studies in Entrepreneurship, Workshop for Startups and others. Mr. Charron has been an entrepreneur, including co-founded Scientific Learning Corporation, a publicly-traded neuroscience company based on innovations from UCSF and Rutgers. He has worked in and studied the field of technology commercialization and entrepreneurship for over 20 years. Mr. Charron has held positions in technology licensing and commercialization with Xerox PARC, academic institutions including MIT and Stanford, and the national lab system. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the Haas School.
