Dr. A K Nandakumar


Director, Deloitte Consulting


Dr. Nandakumar has over 25 years of technical and managerial experience in health care financing in the US and other developing countries with a specific focus on long-term care financing, aging and its impact on health systems in developing countries, National Health Accounts, and other health care financing issues. His recent research has focused on fungibility of donor assistance; understanding the linkages between health expenditures and maternal and infant mortality and studying the relationship between growth in a country’s income and spending on health. He has helped design and conduct Household Health Care Utilization and Expenditure surveys in numerous countries. He also has conducted studies to assess the costs and efficiency of hospital and primary health care services. Dr. Nandakumar is extremely interested in developing methods to track resource flows to understand the efficiency of health spending. He has assisted with an innovative approach to track health spending on Maternal and Child Health, Family Planning and Infection Control in Egypt. Dr. Nandakumar is an internationally recognized expert in National Health Accounts and has contributed to the Producer’s Guide as well as country level NHA studies. Dr. Nandakumar has been a consultant to the World Bank, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Some of the countries Dr. Nandakumar has worked in include the United States, Bangladesh, India, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Kenya, Rwanda, Mongolia, Sudan, Botswana, Western Samoa and Tonga. He has published extensively in peer reviewed journals.

Prof. Roger Moser


Professor of Management at University of St. Gallen and IIM Bangalore


Roger Moser started his academic career with a degree (lic.oec. HSG) in Strategy & organization from the University of St. Gallen. During his studies at the University of St. Gallen, he also worked for a strategic management consulting boutique as well as a US company and worked on projects in Central Europe, UK, Canada and the United States. Subsequently, he moved to Germany as a doctoral student at EBS Business School focusing on offshoring and global sourcing excellence in collaboration with McKinsey & Company. While finishing his doctoral degree he moved to Shanghai, China, to establish the BMW Endowed Chair first at Tongji University later he supported the transfer to China-Europe International Business School (CEIBS). Besides conducting several studies ranging from supplier integration to intercultural management challenges he also organized the first China Sourcing Summit.


After more than one year in China he then moved with his family to Bangalore, India, to establish the EADS Endowed Chair. He lived there for four years shifting his major research focus again back on classic strategic management areas including business (model) development, competitive strategies in subsistence markets, corporate strategy and industry intelligence.

Dr. Mahendra Mehta


CMD Neural Techsoft


Dr. Mehta is the CMD of Neural Technologies and Software (www.neuraltechsoft.com), a Mumbai based business and technology advisory firm practicing in the areas of treasury, risk management, BASEL II systems and automated trading systems. Dr. Mehta is a known figure in his areas of expertise and has some of the best known Indian and MNC banks as his clients. Dr Mehta also provides executive education in these areas around the world. He has given more than 120 seminars in various countries like Spain, UAE, England, Qatar, Saudi-Arabia, South Africa, India, Bahrain, Egypt, Poland and Czech Republic.


Previously, Dr Mehta was Head of Analytics at Citibank, NA where he was involved in the development and implementation of Market Risk Management practice within Citibank for CEEMEA countries. Prior to that, Dr. Mehta spent 15 years with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) at Hyderabad as a research scientist responsible for the development of avionics systems for various defense and aerospace programs at HAL. Dr. Mehta holds a PhD in electrical engineering from IIT Mumbai and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from IIT Khargapur.

Manish Choudhary


Managing Director, Pitney Bowes Software (India)


Manish works as Managing Director for Pitney Bowes Software (India) and Vice President, Solutions Development for PB World Wide Engineering. Pitney Bowes is a 90-year old Fortune 500 firm, which provides software, hardware and services that integrate physical and digital communications channels. In this role, he is responsible for establishing and managing complete range of operations and overseeing the delivery and execution of Pitney Bowes vision & strategy in India.


After having worked at PB Software headquarters in New York for more than 10 years in various positions, Manish moved to India as an expatriate in 2007 to setup India operations. Starting the operations as first employee in India, the Noida operations has now grown to 600+ strong, with 40+ different product teams in his leadership, within 5 years across PB Business Units – MSM, PBBI, DMT, Volly. He is responsible for PB R&D, Global Professional Services, Sales, Marketing and Support based out of Noida along with General Management of India operations.


Started in 2007 as first employee, Noida centre is now the largest center for Pitney Bowes Worldwide outside US. Over the last 5 years of India setup, under his leadership PBS India has received many awards for its leadership practices by NASSCOM, Aon Hewitt & Fortune Magazine, People Matters, Best Companies to Work for, DataQuest, Asia’s Best Employer and many more. His thought leadership on technology and leadership development is widely acknowledged and he is invited as speaker and chair in various forums like Nasscom, Zinnov and Geospatial forums, CMO, Telecom, BFSI & other CIO conclaves. He is also one of the youngest awarded exemplary leaders in India. He is a core member of NASSCOM Regional Council, Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), Zinnov and Delhi Management Association.


Manish holds an MBA from Anderson School of Management, UCLA, Los Angles and Executive MBA from NUS Business School, National University of Singapore and also a part of Harvard Business School’s executive education program. He has a Master’s degree from University of Akron, Ohio and a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Rakesh Gupta


B. Tech, NIT Rourkela; MBA, IIM Bangalore


Rakesh Gupta is an experienced Business Process Outsourcing professional with Operations, Business Development and Solutions expertise. He has over 25 years of domain experience primarily in CRM and Tech support and in the Telecom and IT industry. He was VP and Global CRM Solutions Leader at IBM Global Process Services for over 9 years and also spent a year at IBM Australia in a sales role. He led Operations and Service Delivery for 3 major telecom clients in North America, managing over 2000 agents. He was also Global Competency leader for Performance Management at IBM. Prior to joining IBM, Rakesh has worked at Cellmania (a startup now acquired by RIM), Motorola and Wipro. At Motorola India he was Head of Sales for Radio Products and has experience in supporting Network Operators. At Wipro, Rakesh was Senior Area Manager for Delhi region handling sales and support for corporate clients. Rakesh is a B Tech. from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela with a MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore
